Is this lip balm safe for my teenager to use?
Oh yes! Firstly, all our products are toxin free, containing only natural ingredients that are nourishing and safe for young skin. Secondly, we undertake a rigourous round of tests to get our products dermatologically tested for allergens and safety, to ensure that they are suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. This is why, we are certified Made Safe’, ‘100% Toxin Free’ and ‘Vegan’ by Safe Cosmetics Australia, and Australian Allergy Certified. Your teenager has nothing to worry about!
Does this lip balm contain preservatives?
Yes, and we’ll tell you why. If most water-based skincare and grooming products are made without preservatives, there is a strong chance of contamination and breeding of harmful bacteria and other microorganisms. However, know that we do NOT use harmful preservatives like parabens, methylisothiazolinone, propylene, disodium, tetrasodium EDTA, butylene glycols, etc. SUPER SMELLY products contain ONLY natural preservatives, which for most parts are food grade.
How do you ensure that your products are toxin free?
We begin our formulations keeping the negative list of toxic ingredients in mind. After identifying the ingredients for a formulation, each ingredient is then scrutinised by Safe Cosmetics Australia (SCA). Post their approval we send our products to an independent French laboratory governed by international regulatory standards, where a panel of esteemed dermatologists clinically test our products for toxicity, ph balance and non-irritants. It is only after this stringent process that we pass the ingredients and formulations for manufacturing.
Could the product trigger an allergic reaction?
All Super Smelly products are clinically and dermatologically tested for irritation and allergies. However, since everyone has different skin types, ideally it is best to test the product on a patch of skin first before applying elsewhere.
Is this lip balm vegetarian?
Yes. It is a vegetarian and vegan product.
Does this lip balm contain parabens and preservatives?
No. We don’t use parabens and other harmful preservatives in any of our products.
Is this lip balm safe for kids ?
Yes it is perfectly safe for kids since it is made up of natural butters and oils, with IFRA compliant food grade flavours.
Will this lip balm keep lips moisturized for 24 hours ?
No. It will work upto 10 to 12 hours.
How do you claim for no toxin ?
All our products, including this lip balm are clinically and dermatologically tested in international laboratories for toxiclty and sensitivity. Once clinically proven, only then do we get the certification of being 100% toxin-free and safe to use. We are happy to share a copy of that report, on request.
Is this lip balm for boys or girls?
The skin on our lips is thinner and more vulnerable than skin elsewhere, irrespective of the gender. Our formulations deeply care for your lips and can be used by boys and girls both, depending on the flavour of their liking.
